Registration and Rates

(Our team is organized by a committee of volunteers. Only our coaching staff are paid. Please be patient with us.)

Please return to this site in February for updated information about 2018 summer season. We look forward to welcoming many new and returning swimmers to our team. For reference, we have kept our 2017 information on this site. However, rates, policies, and practice times are all subject to change.

2017 Rates:

REMINDER: We can no longer offer registration refunds. Please make sure you and your swimmer can meet the general expections as outlined on our home page and can commit to the swim team for the entire summer season prior to registering.

Below are the CGST rates for 2017, which give the swimmer access to ALL practices, meets, and team events. What you see is what you pay! We also incur the credit card processing fee instead of passing it along to you.

  • first swimmer in family - $155
  • second sibling - $130
  • third sibling - $120
  • fourth (fifth, sixth, ...) sibling - $110

We do offer scholarships to swimmers who cannot afford to pay full price. Scholarships are awarded based on need. You can download an application here: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

IN ADDITION, each swimmer MUST have an active YMCA membership to gain membership to the pool. Membership is handled by the YMCA. Please contact Jeri Evans at the Y directly for more information: 434-205-4380 or

Your options for membership are:

  • Family Membership, which is $69/month with a one time joining fee of $100
  • Youth Membership, which is $22/month with a one time joining fee of $25
  • Special Youth Gator Summer Membership, which is a flat fee of $78.50. This gives the swimmer a full youth membership only during the summer swim team season. This does not extend to siblings or parents. If parents/siblings plan to watch practice, that is fine, but they will need to pay the Daily Pass Rate in order to swim in pool.

Half-price joining fees and the Youth Gator Summer Membership can be purchased by coordinating with Jeri Evans at the Y.
